The Associated Press reports that a Spanish Judge has issued an arrest warrant for three U.S. soldiers.
A Spanish judge has issued an arrest warrant for three U.S. soldiers in connection with the death of a Spanish journalist in Iraq.
The 3rd Infantry soldiers were part of a tank crew that fired a shell at the Hotel Palestine in April 2003. Several journalists who were covering the war were staying at the hotel in Baghdad.
The Spanish judge said he issued the arrest order because the United States has not been cooperative.
U.S. officials insist that the soldiers were fired on, and Colin Powell, the then-Secretary of State, claims the use of force was justified.
This is just one more thing to add to Bush’s list of shame he has brought to the country after altering the truth to go to war in Iraq.
