  1. KJ says:

Jonathan Powers, Iraq War Veteran, speaking now.
    Crowd interaction/participation awesome!

  2. KJ says:

Judy Droz Keyes, widow of Donald Droz, speaking now.

  3. GV says:

Watching. Powers was good. I have a feeling Mrs Keyes is going to make me cry.

  4. KJ says:

    Oh yeah, chills.
“Then, as now, those leaders are not in the White House.”

  5. KJ says:

Talking about Kerry defending Murtha’s right to speak the truth.

  6. GV says:

    He looks great.

  7. KJ says:

I love the word “dissent.” @;-)
He commands that stage. He IS the President this country demands and deserves!

  8. KJ says:

There is a call to adventure in all of our lives, and how, and if, we respond to that call, can define the course of our lives.

John Kerry is calling for a force to counter the “stubborn pride, incompetence and self-deception” as the BEST way to support American troops. Many of us have already answered that call and we’re ready, seasoned and on the path, together.

We are where we are. There is only the path ahead. There is only “the next right thing” in front of us to do.

  9. KJ says:

The call to dissent, by this very public man, by his very public speech in historic Fanueil Hall, is necessary for those of us who have born the label of being “un-patriotic” and “anti-America” for far too long.

  10. KJ says:

“The truth was clear, NEVER confuse the war with the warriors.”
    ~~John Kerry

  11. KJ says:

“It’s time to think about young Americans and innocent civilians who are losing their lives.”
    ~~ John Kerry

    Truth to power, baby!~

  12. KJ says:

“Dissent is the greatest form of patriotism.”
    ~~Thomas Jefferson

  13. GV says:

I had to switch to watch Sen Kerry on “This Week”. I’m recording the Boston speech.

  14. KJ says:

“How dare those who never wore the uniform in battle attack those who wore it all their lives.”
    ~~John Kerry

Quoting a Marine Lieutenant General: “the commitment of our forces to this fight was done with a casualness and swagger that are the special province of those who have never had to execute these missions, or bury the results.”

  15. KJ says:

The call to adventure, for me, means no need to carry baggage. Just move forward, light. The “things I’ll carry” are hope and resolve and an unwaving spirit and knowledge that I am not alone on this quest.

    THANK YOU, JOHN.

  16. NativeTexan4Kerry says:

    He looked/delivered it great!

  17. Andy Witmyer says:

Amazing speech. John Kerry’s got his groove on!

Not many politician’s these days can command the Eglish language like him. What can I say, I love JK!

  18. ifkeditor says:

Awe inspiring speech. Hope the media picks up more on it.

  19. GV says:

Blitzer played a clip just now on late edition and asked Sen Levin and Specter to respond. Levin was good. Specter had nothing.

    KJ

Thanks for all your memorable posts.

I just finished experiencing JK’s speech during Mountain Time, and wow I’m in some state of euphoric transe and so ready for President John Kerry to get us on the path of truth and justice for all. In a few more hours, I’ll listen again, followed by “This Week” and then I’ll be totally grateful for a blissful day! *Thank You, John Kerry.*

  23. KJ says:

    Dotti, “It’s a beautiful day.” 🙂 🙂 🙂

  24. Fedup says:

    KJ, wonderful summation.

I was in tears from the first speaker and it continued throughout.

What America is missing in not having this true PATRIOT as President.

Yesterday just proved again that John Kerry is “THE REAL DEAL”.

  25. Dotti J says:

    GV, I appreciated the video.

JK continues strong and direct. I like it, I like it!

  26. KJ says:

The neighbors are outside, milling around in true rural suburban style, and I have Kerry’s speech (which C-Span is re-airing) on… um, sort of loud, with the window and door open.

Let’s put it this way, I can hear them talking, surely they can hear John Kerry talking!

    Heheheheh

  27. Nick says:

Go get em KJ. Kerry on, Kerry on!

  28. Teresa says:

I’m stunned. In this hysterical screaming jump the gun atmosphere of lies and misspeak, John Kerry is calm, clear, direct, and soooooo confident. His aura of protectiveness will win the day and the next presidency. I loved his moderately keyed emotion and the unquestioning truth of his words. What a relief. And that bony finger of his always pointing up. I love it. He’s got the whole world in his hands. They just haven’t caught up with reality yet.

  29. KJ says:

Did everyone see Island Blue’s video to honor Kerry’s speech?

    Go here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=273×82885

but a warning, it will only play in Explorer, not Firefox.

The thing is, I want tee shirts with the quotes about dissent… wearing them around here would so, SO make my day.

    heheheh I do love a patriot. 😉

  30. Daniel D. Abt says:

Senator Kerry knocked it alla way out of the ball park!! Now that’s what an American President looks and sounds like. Run John run!

One individual said here, and I think her words really capture my enthusiasm, “I’m stunned. They just haven’t caught up with reality yet.”

I felt every bit as emotional as the woman who posted this here too, “I just finished experiencing JK’s speech during Mountain Time, and wow I’m in some state of euphoric transe and so ready for President John Kerry to get us on the path of truth and justice for all. In a few more hours, I’ll listen again, followed by “This Week” and then I’ll be totally grateful for a blissful day! *Thank You, John Kerry.”

See that light ahead? Hear the sound of freedoms bell in the distance? That’s John F. Kerry fighting to give us our country back.
