Having been out-of-touch for the better part of July, so thought I’d check in to see what’s happening around my local watering holes.
I’m back in an area of the country where my literary bonds are strong, and that’s where the bulk of my energy is headed. As someone said the other day, “art is real.” I would also add that art is strong, art is healing, and art is open to interpretation by each and everyone of us.
I’ve heard from old friend Ron Chusid, who previously wrote here for The Democratic Daily, and discovered he is now writing regularly at DemBloggers. Ron is working on setting up a new blog and announcements about its location will be posted at DemBloggers and to people registered at his other site, The Kerry Reference Library.
I hope that all of the people I have worked with these past several (has it actually been three years?) will keep the strong bonds they’ve formed through the battles fought with the neocons. We all have different voices and stories to tell, which is undoubtably why many us have formed our own blogs, but we’re all still in the battle and our connections with one another are vital.
In the meantime, namaste to one and all!
And to Pamela re: her trip East, best of luck! 🙂
