Hat Tip to Orange Gearle for this one. Thanks for the quote and mail.
If you plan for one year, plant rice.
If you plan for 10 years, plant trees.
If you plan for 100 years, educate mankind.
You’re such a renaissance man!
You know the fool administration doesn’t understand any of those plans.
Tinking like dat meens comon cents. ‘Corse dey aint gonna git it!
KJ, Is that you? WOW you are still alive. ;)How’s JimBobKen? I just had to post this one. I opened the mail and got a smile on my face.
Great one Donnie. Really beautiful.
Have you ever read the Tao? If you haven’t you should grab a copy.
Donnie, yeppers! still here and still alive. 😉
How’re you? How’s Grandma?
JimBobKen is doing okay, we’re both so very happy to be back home in our old house, it’s just nuts, because this house is nothing special, but it is home.
I think about the homes that people lost in Katrina… the concept of home, and what comfort it can give and what’s lost without one. How hard it is to “make due” with just heart.
And yes, check out the Tao (The Way of Life according to Lao Tzu). There is a translation by Stephen Mitchell, but my favorite is the one by Witter Bynner.
