Kerry: Pats Rule

Forget about ’08 for a moment…and let’s focus on ’07…February 4th to be exact.

Kerry doubles down on Pats:

Senator Kerry (D-Mass.) today made a bet with his colleague from Indiana, Sen. Evan Bayh (D–Ind.), predicting that the Patriots would beat the Colts this Sunday in the American Football Conference (AFC) Championship game.

“The only thing I love more than watching the Patriots play is watching them beat the Colts,” Kerry said. “Overcoming an injury-plagued season, the Patriots have managed another outstanding finish – fighting their way into the playoffs and containing one of the most potent offenses in the league.”

Hmmm…and yet if we weren’t talking about football…fighting his way into the playoffs against one of the most potent offenses in the race? Er, league?

They don’t call it the Superbowl for nothing.
