A Reality of Some Grassroots Campaigns

I wonder how many of these amateur candidates every read and followed this quote:

“Planning is as natural to the process of success as its absence is to the process of failure.”

Personally I don’t see it in many, many districts. Politics isn’t a game that can be won by accident.

    How many times have we seen that person swept into office from the successful protest, the community controversy, the sudden eclat of some issue that galvanized the electorate?

    We’ve made politics a high dollar affair, and the proposed remedies mainly consist of cosmetic changes.

    It’s likely that real change can come from no avenue other than The Second American Constitutional Convention.
