I’ve been a way for a while but must congratulate Pamela on her new blog. The web site is really nice.

I don’t check the political side of the web as much since Kerry decided not to run in 08.

As the old timers here know I won’t support Hillary or Edwards under any circumstances. I don’t care who endorses them.

Personally I hope Kerry and Gore don’t endorse any of the candidates. After the way the dem party has treated them both they don’t owe them thing.

Remember how Gore got skewered for endorsing Dean. Pundits were actually saying Gore’s endorsement hurt Dean. In reality the endorsement didn’t hurt Dean it hurt Gore when Dean imploded.

Gore is on a different path now and he doesn’t have to endorse anyone in the party. His campaign for global warming is more important that endorsing a dem candidate.

As for Kerry, yes I’m still bitter about the so called botched joke and all the other stuff that dems like Harry Reid, Pelosi, Hillary, Biden, Edwards, Emanuel, Rangel, you get the drill, have done to the man. They swift boated Kerry more than the GOP did.

I still believe Kerry would have made a great president but if he doesn’t run now he can kiss it good bye forever especially if Hill gets in.

Kerry still doesn’t get the credit he deserves or the respect even from his own peers in his party and I think that is a blame shame.

I for one am still hoping for a JK run in 2008!!! He is the best choice for America, now and forever !! I to Pamela am waiting to see who JK supports and will lean that way unless its Hillary.

I like alrudder’s suggestion. I think Kerry and Gore crisscrossing the country next year *together* in support of whomever the nominee is would seal the death warrant on the Republican party.

It seems like it would be important for both Kerry and Gore to at least express an opinion on the matter by endorsing. I believe that each would be given great weight. I truly wonder both what’s on their minds, and if and when they’ll make it public.

I hear you. I think JK will still continue to shape American policy in a very influential way. I still have people ask me frequently if he won’t change his mind and run, just as there are those who wish Gore will run.

I hope he (and Al Gore) goes all over the country next year to help deliver a Democratic Triple Crown: White House, Senate, House.

Then I think he ought to be slightly independent of the president and act as the “conscience of American politics” always telling the truth to the American people.

I was crushed when John Kerry decided not to run in 2008.
I know lots of people in Iowa that were going to support him and I beleive he would have won. First of all he came so close to winning in 2004 and I think he did win. He was right about everything and his opinions mean a lot to many people. John Kerry is the BEST and and he is all class! He proves it evry day! He would have been a great President!
