Somebody willing to stand up and put the brakes on this run-away train wreck of the Bushies. I support you one hundred percent. Any free thinking American knows that you don't give up your rights so you can be 'safe and secure in your country'. It's just like with gun control. Gun control would only keep the guns out of law abiding citizens hands, not the criminals. There will always be guns out there for criminals. It is not with giving up our rights to be 'safer'. The only thing that will happen for sure is that we will be a lot less free. That's not a trade I'm willing to make. Also, I'm not living my life afraid of terrorists or terrorism and I'm sick and tired of somebody else being afraid for me. If we don't take care to keep our constitution in tact we will find ourselves in a dictatorship or as I suspect Bush secretly wishes, we will find ourselves nothing more than serfs under the rule of a tyrantical king. The executive branch of our government needs to be reined in and quickly. You go, Mr. Dodd! Hurray for you! However, if this latest situation turns out to be something other than just so much grandstanding I will definitely raise my opinion of him to the upper ecehlons of the current Democratic heirarchy.
