		<description>I&#039;m not totally oblivious to the nuances of the current political environment but I&#039;ll tell you something that I&#039;ve taken some solace from. And I also have to preface this by predicting that the Right doesn&#039;t have prayer in 2008.

We&#039;ve actually had only 12 years of the past forty with a Dem in the Whitehouse. The other 28 were populated by a true rogues gallery of American Presidents, and it&#039;s taken a concerted effort on the part of all of them to bring us down this low. And the country has gotten a definite bounce both other times when peoples votes clearly showed that they had had their fill. It may be true that we would need 28 of the next 40 to get the whole job of restoration complete, but any of the current pack on the left  will give every aspect of public life a much needed boost.</description>
