		<description>This is such a national disgrace. I think everyone should see the film called WHEN I CAME HOME - it&#039;s a great doc about homeless Iraq war vets in New York City. I saw it at Tribeca and it totally opened my eyes to this whole situation. There&#039;s a one-minute trailer online at:

We have to do more to support the vets. We need to let them know that no matter what we think about this war, we appreciate their service.</description>

		<description>For the Vietnam veterans, at least, there were statistics that said that beofre, during, and after the stuff that was causing them to be homeless they were also spending time being locked up in jails or prisons. When the reality is that PTSD is the underleing operative force in a veterans life, and one tactic they use to help deal with this condtion is substance abuse, we really need to find better programs to offer than the criminal &quot;justice&quot; system.</description>
