I”m not saying I endorse Huckabee and I certainly don’t endorse “intelligent design.” But don’t think that Huckabee’s views on evolution will disqualify him as a worhty opponent in the fall 2008. Remember, Ronald Reagan got elected twice in landslides while saying creationism should be taught in public schools. If it happened before, it can happen again. Just as we lived in a “post-Reagan” world in the 1990s, we could end up living in a post-Huckabee world in 10- 15 years. Not saying it’s gonna happen, but evolution or not it definitely COULD happen.

On the other hand it looks like 50/50 odds that Guiliani could pick up an indictment for something between the Primary and the General.
