Finding My Way Around Windows Vista and a New PC

Over the past few days I have been busy setting up my new Dell PC,  transferring data and just generally getting accustomed to working on a new platform – Windows Vista Business.

I have to say, after being stuck in the past working on PC’s that ran Win98, because of conflicts with WinXP when it debuted, the transfer to Win Vista has been far easier and I’m finding less hassles than I had with WinXP, which caused me to roll back to Win 98 and stay there a few years ago.

Here I am… I’ve caught up to technology! Well, almost. Now that I am running Win Vista, I have a few pricey programs to upgrade at some point in the near future as well. But for now, I’m enjoying my new PC with a Pentium Duo Core processor, 2 GB’s of memory, Dell System Recovery (which runs a hiddden backup drive) and a 20″ wide screen monitor (things look so different on a wide screen).

Hopefully, I’ll be catching up with posting again soon, now that I’m almost done setting up my new PC.
