		<description>I totally disagree with &quot;experts&quot; who contend that there is no need to be proactive in preventing speculative bubbles from even forming. They act like the problems created by bursting bubbles are a normal and necessary part of life, and I tend to focus on the personal trauma. It&#039;s times like this when I simply can&#039;t go along with their thesis that, on balance, leaving the economy unregulated in this regard is more important than trying to ensure economic tranquility and continuity.

I&#039;d be willing to bet that this whole situation gets serious enough before it all shakes out that there is going to be all kinds of support for doing something to create a regulatory fix to head anything like this off in the future.</description>
