Live Blogging The Iowa Caucus

I’m watching Matthews and Olberman on MSNBC.. NBC has just called the GOP caucus for Mike Huckabee.

With 40% of the vote in for the Dems, it’s Obama at 33%, 32% for Edwards and Clinton.

Apparently, it’s the “values” or evangelical voters again who are picking the candidate for the GOP in Iowa.

MSNBC says the “turn out is huge” for the Dems.

Andrea Mitchell notes there could be a generational divide among Democratic women, with younger women going for Obama.

Chris Matthews has just reported — Barack Obama has won the Iowa caucus.

Listening to John Edwards speak in Iowa about healthcare and poverty… He sounds good. I’m impressed with what I’m hearing.

Michael Crowley reports on The New Republic that the Richardson – Obama deal was for real.

Hillary Clinton is at the mic… “a great night for Democrats in Iowa”… “we are going to have change, that change will be a Democratic president in the White House in 2009” … “I am so ready for the rest of this campaign”…

It’s official: Obama and Huckabee win the Iowa caucus.
