Thompson May NOT Drop Out and Support McCain

The second big rumor on caucus day comes from the Republicans with Politico noting that Fred Thompson may drop out of the race and support John McCain if he has a poor showing in the Iowa caucus. Several Republican officials close to Fred Thompson’s presidential campaign said they expect the candidate will drop out of the race within days if he finishes poorly in Thursday’s Iowa caucus. Richardson NOT Set to Send Obama Second-Choice Support

Chase Martyn reported late last on the Iowa Independent that Bill Richardson was set to send Obama his supporters as a second choice move. Gov. Bill Richardson’s campaign is expected to direct their supporters to caucus for Sen.
