		<description>Edson might have added one very important note.  In head-to-head polls, Edwards shows a clearer victory over any Republican candidate than either Clinton or Obama.  The reason for this is that he has a better chance of winning southern states than the others.  

As an independent who is dismayed by the Republic field in 2008, I would be happy for any Democrat to win, and the best bet for a Democratic victory is Edwards.</description>
