Dizzy’s Ten Post Round-Up

It’s back to the “old grindstone” for many of you, but since my work doesn’t start until the week ends, today is when my “weekend” starts.
There’s a lot going on all over the place. Politicians of every stripe are amping up their campaigns to end in the culmination of their “official” party nominations at their respective conventions. Delegates and other politically active voters are amped up and making plans to be there to see if their guy/girl gets the nod. Even Dizzy is amping up for one of the upcoming conventions in Denver (more on that, in the future).
All weekend, I’ve been reading nothing but nastiness between candidates, on the webosphere. It’s like watching a really bad car wreck. You know you should move along, but you can’t help but crane your neck to see if you can witness something gruesome, even though you know it might make you sick to your stomach. But, you can’t look away. And, trust me, it’s getting nasty. Very nasty.
Some days I just get so tired of the “tit for tat”, fire-breathing, rock throwing and dodge-balling. I wanna go all Rodney King and scream “Can’t we all just get along!”. So, in the spirit of getting along, I give you the following youtube: WAR - WHY CAN’T WE BE FRIENDS
