It’s been raining for days in Southern California and that rain has wrecked some havoc around the area, including my neighborhood. I’ve been experiencing intermittent power outages since early morning (2:30 am) that have lasted from a few minutes to a few hours. Given that, I’m going to protect my computer, which usually is powered on 24/7 and stay offline for a while as the down pours have started up again.
The upshot of all the rain here, and the cold is the view pictured below (from yesterday – Getty Images):
The snow has come down heavy in the San Gabriel mountains which are north of where I live (San Fernando Valley). The snow capped mountains were a sight to behold yesterday in our brief respite from the rain.
