I'm saddened by his choice of timing and the loss to the campaign. It's my belief he thinks that the race will essentially end on 2-5-08 with his withdrawl. If he's right, Feb 6 is the day we can begin healing this party. That won't be easy. We shall need every voice, every volunteer, every dollar to win this fall. This election is by no means in the bag. John Edwards has always impressed me as a man of action who was also eloquent. That's a key element in getting things done.
