Great Hoogally-Moogally! The writers’ strike is over and the Academy Awards will go on, as scheduled, tonight!

The “Oscars” have always been sort of a big deal in our home, where we play “guess the winner” (and I always win).

This year, I’ll probably skip them because I haven’t really been keeping up with what movies or stars, etc. got nominations, this year. Well…except “Sweeney Todd” and Johnny Depp (I know I promised ya’ll a review ages ago…get off my back now, whydontcha?). BTW, I believe that Tim Burton was robbed…ROBBED, I tell ya!

Moving right along…

I did a search to find maybe a decent musical Oscar performance and couldn’t find one that I felt was acceptable. Instead, I decided to post music from another Oscar (The Grouch) singing an extremely trashy version of a James Taylor classic, with the man, himself, I might add: Sesame Street - Your Grouchy Face
