Dude, dog hair is GREAT for knitting. It’s almost insanely warm — to the point where you can’t even wear socks made of dog hair unless it’s subzero. You have to card it into regular sheep’s wool before you can wear it in normal weather, and it’s still almost too warm.
I’ve always wanted to knit with silver poodle fur, personally.
