Just a quick note to readers: I’m down and out today with a bad back. Hopefully some of our other writers will pitch in and throw up some posts here today.
Hi Pamela: Hope you feel better soon. You will be missed!
Would love to write something for you folks and I know you have invited me to, so maybe I will take you up on it. Most of what I would write would be cross-posts of articles I write for my blog at http://www.HillaryNowObamaLater.org which is also a blog dedicated to looking at sexism in the United States and trying to do my part to create awareness and solutions.
I have recently posted about the DNC and Florida and Michigan voters and I have submitted my resignation from Democrat Party membership in my district, in which I was quite active. You can read more about it at my blog, but, the short story is, until the DNC gets its act together, I am an Independent who won’t be giving any more money to the DNC. I will likely always vote Democrat, but I was ashamed to be a Democrat, so, I’m not anymore…. until and unless the DNC shapes up and validates Florida and Michigan primaries as is, with uncommitteds going to Obama.
Let me know if you want me to cross post articles here and how to do it. Thanks, and take care. Mark
I hope you feel better soon, Pamela. I went through a back thing last year, and I know how miserable it can make you.
Check your email. I added you as an Author here.

Thanks – this is the 3rd time in as many months that I have pulled something in the same place – the last 2 times weren’t this bad. It takes a lot to keep me down – I spent most of the day sleeping (thank you muscle relaxers) and I’m wide awake now, but still in pain. Hopefully in a couple of days it will be a lot better, I have way too much to do to stay down for too long.
Be well 🙂
Pamela: I know I’m too old for a pick up game of B-ball. And, like, almost anything more than a good brisk several hour walk in the local mountains.
Here’s hoping that you didn’t really take on too much. I have no idea why youth is wasted on the young.
I could use a walk in the mountains about now.
