Late Night: Much Ado About A Photo

April 2, 2008 11:42 pm

Barack Obama had a testy exchange in Philly today with a man who wanted to have his picture taken with Obama. Watch the video here. According to Obama’s campaign, the man who wanted the photograph “is an eBay seller and was seeking a photo, presumably to sell online.” Maybe he was…  But in my opinion Obama would have done better to smile and let the guy have the photo rather than have this testy exchange caught on film. A coalition of “18 states, two cities and 11 environmental groups” has fikled a lawsuit against the Bush administration “to force it to comply with a Supreme Court ruling that rebuked what justices called inaction on global warming.” In April 2007, the Supreme Court said “that carbon dioxide from burning fossil fuels is a pollutant subject to the Clean Air Act” and the court “directed the EPA to determine if carbon dioxide emissions, linked to global warming, endanger public health and welfare.” Sphere:...

Rest assured, I am completely sane, at least according to my own biased standards… In the spirit of April Fool’s Day past, I offer this video: Steve Miller Band – The Joker. Some of the posts in today’s Ten Post Round-Up are no joke: 1: Ignored: Voter intimidation of African-Americans in Dallas… The FBI Ignored Threats to...
