My god, he’s “the ultimate Comander in Chief” and can’t even seperate out the Shia and the Sunni? It’s my sincere belief that if the puppet master pulling his strings was taken away, he wouldn’t have had a chance of being elected to public office. Someone saw the son of career military brass who had been a POW and created a marketable package. I think that he is actually someone that BUSHCO cultivated and then kept waiting in the wings in case they needed someone off of the bench. He never made it to the bigs and his shelf life is almost up so it’s safe to give him a shot in a throw away year.

There’s John McCain in a nutshell!

I think there is a difference to be honest between what Clinton said about McCain a while back – that he had “passed the Commander in Chief test.” She was speaking in terms of experience – if I am not mistaken and making the argument that McCain has more experience than Obama. I agree with that. Obama’s lack of experience concerns me. Will he be better than Bush — absolutely. Will he be better than McCain – you bettcha. But I think CLinton is the strongest candidate we have on the issues and the experience factor – both of which I think are extremely important in this election.

However, I do not agree that McCain would be better than Bush, not as we see that he is running on Bush policies — As Clinton pointed out yesterday.

The fact is candidates really have to be cautious when speaking, because it’s easy to make a “gaffe” as we have seen over and over again and then all hell breaks loose.

But if you are going to be convincing in your arguments, then you might not want to attack Obama for something Hillary has also said. You shouldn’t claim or try to convince us that Obama is “undermining the efforts of the entire Democratic party.” That is just a joke of an argument, and I’m putting you on notice that there are bright readers here who will not fall for that type of argument. We deserve to be challanged, not spoon fed a hypocritical argument.

On the substance of this item, I actually agree with Obama and Hillary–any of these 3 people running for president would be miles better than Bush. That said, I would never vote for McCain when I am going to have either Obama or Hillary running. But their point is valid–any of these 3 are an improvement over the current. I imagine most people actually would agree with this given Bush’s current approval ratings.

Oh, gee, John P, I get it, Hillary Clinton supporters should do what Obama supporters do and criticize her. If that’s they way Obama supporters want to play it, then it’s only fair you all should be outraged by what Obama said as well.

Anybody with common sense would realize that this Obama phenom is just fabricated political game by the very same ” vast right-wing conspiracy” that brought us 8 years of misery. Through the corporate-owned media they promoted Obama in grand charade because they know he could not win. He is their designated loser (DL) in this quadrennial Political All-Star Game. All those with enough intelligence should know this.

The Annals of Internal Medicine, in its April first issue, reports the results of a study asking 2000 doctors about their preferences in the area of health care reform. Only 14% prefer the sort of approach that is going to be forced on Utah, while 59% would like to see things move to a government regulated single payer type system. In addition, the experience of other countries who have gone that route show that we could expect a one third reduction in cost compared to what our national health care bill now is.
