I think "pansy" has turned into something like "gyp," where i's a slur and most people don't even realize it. I do, though -- and I wish he hadn't said it and that she'd at least said, "I wouldn't have used that word, but I appreciate the sentiment," or something. But if you line this up alongside her support of the LGBT community, it's really a piddling thing to get annoyed with. Unless they want to say that she made him say it by the awesome and terrifying power of her mind, which isn't too farfetched for some to think ... Oh gawd, I do wished he’d used another word.
