Obama Wins North Carolina, Hillary Wins Indiana

Barack Obama won the North Carolina primary tonight and Hillary Clinton won Indiana by a slim margin. Where it goes from here is anyone’s guess… and the pundits are all chiming in. ABC News reports that “Clinton is scheduled to meet with superdelegates Wednesday where she may face increased calls from within the party to step out of the race.”

Earlier tonight Marc Ambinder looked at the early exit polls and asked, is the “Democratic Party Cracking Up?

Forget the horse race numbers for a moment: if the surveys are accurate, the polarization within the Democratic Party has reached critical levels.

Sam Stein reported on the HuffPo that the “Limbaugh Effect Seems To Rear Its Head.” Not everyone is happy about the results and some are worried about what my come in the general election by way of an October surprise.
