Following up on my rant below, I want to remind readers how freakin important it is to keep your “eyes on the prize.” From Bruce Springsteen’s Live In Dublin, The Seeger Sessions:

The outcome of this presidental election is far to important to take your ball and go home if the nominee of your choice isn’t chosen. Likewise there is no reason to rush anyone out of the field. Let’s all keep our eyes on the prize… We can’t afford 4 - 8 years of John McCain.
