ColdH2Owi, Olbermann beat Billo according to who? Olby himself!! I'd like to see the ratings for the night he's talking about. Either someone was filling in for O'reilly, or it was the night Hillary gave up, and people (namely Democratic people) knew what station to tune in to to get the news.
O'reilly kicks Olbermann's ass on a nightly basis (3-1, or 4-1 on some nights), so I'm sure IF Olbermanns numbers WERE better, ther were extenuating circumstances. Olbermanns a CLOWN!!!

I've been bothered by Olbermann's weird & creepy obsession with Brittney Spears and Paris Hilton for a long time now. His sexism and rude over-the-top antics against Senator Clinton during the primary was the last straw. Will not waste another minute of my time watching his crappy, immature show. Adios MSNBC!

If he has done so poorly, why did he recently beat O'Reilly? I don't watch him much, but some bloggers I respect do & seem to find him generally OK. I wish I was young again & could, with a clear conscious, demand a perfect world. I'm not young & I would rather watch Olberman than just about anyone else on network or cable news. As I said, however, I don't watch him much, by that time of the day, the last thing I want is cable news. Give me Sci-Fi or Sundance. Or maybe the setting sun.

I totally agree witg you Darrell. Although Keith Olbermann is a democrat,, he is a totally biased one. Now, we all know that the Fox Network is anything but "fair and balanced." Just the other night they voiced their "fair and balanced" crap and then Shane Hennitty said it was time for the, "Stop the Obama revolutinary express." Often Keith, like Hennity, seems too much over the lie. line. I believe one of Ann Coulter's recent book's is entitled, "How To Talk To A Liberal--If You Must." We should all be able to both talk and listen to those from all political pursuasions. Keith is too opinionated for me. He is no were close to being in the same league as Tim Russert. How liberals ( I hate the tag progressive) ourselves pre-judge others by sterio-typing them? Keith needs to remember that "democrat" and "republican" are only labels. As Martin Luther King said people need to be judged by "the content of their character and not the color of their skin." As democrats this quote should also apply to liberals, conservatives, straights, gays, women, men, jews etc.
I pray that Americans in 2008 are able to vote as if they were "color blind." Having an advocate like Keith Olbermann does little to counter balance the "fair and balanced" far right myth!! Buzz

No one else in public life has been willing to be absolutely brutally honest about GWB. No one else in public life is calling McCain out the way he clearly deserves to be.

I would rather have Olbermann in his current deeply flawed state than not have him around at all.
