"I mean, do a little research on the blog you are commenting on before coming out with such nonsense."

Ouch. Rebukes accepted. I should have done that and will do that in the future. Thank you.

Weltec2,

Very interesting point of view, considering that Kerry wrote the Iraq plan that both Obama and Clinton essentially ran on. Hey, if that's "melting away" in the Senate, I wish more Senators would melt away.

Oh, and I heard both Obama and Clinton talk like Kerry in terms of inventing out way out of the climate crisis.

I mean, do a little research on the blog you are commenting on before coming out with such nonsense.

Pamela, thanks for giving us such a thorough report on Hillary's return to the senate. It's much better than reading one source.

Pamela is 100% right about John Kerry on his return to the Senate. Anyone that does not know this is uninformed. John Kerry has done a lot of great things since he returned to the Senate in 2004 and is one of our best Senators, if not the best. Also, John Kerry would have been a great President!!

"John Kerry seems to have melted into the framework of the senate and disappeared during Bush’s reign."

Evidently you have not been reading this blog since it was started in July '03 because if you had you would know that John Kerry certainly did NOT melt into the framework of the Senate and disappear.

As a matter of fact there are over 1700 posts in our archives from July '03 to date that prove otherwise.

Pamela Leavey writes:

"Clinton’s reception as she returned to work in the Senate was not unlike the reception Kerry received when he returned to work in the Senate in November ‘04."

Let us hope, however, that their future performances and accomplishments are miles apart. John Kerry seems to have melted into the framework of the senate and disappeared during Bush's reign. I am looking forward to greater visibility from Hillary, an ever present Senatorial thorn in Barack's backside pressuring him (first) to define his terms and then(second) to walk the walk that he has only thus far vaguely alluded to.

MMiller

Thank goodness Senator Clinton understands the process of politics and running for office and the fact that things often get heated between opponents and yet, the calling to be in office is the higher perspective.

And thank goodness she gets how important it is to get Barack Obama elected. You can bet she's not carrying around the same feelings about losing the election as you and others are. That was quite evident from the both of the news stories that this post quoted.

You do Hillary Clinton no favors in hoping McCain gets elected, because you feel she was slighted.

I am anxious to begin the journey to rid the House and Senate of politicians like Nancy Pelosi and Charlie Rangell who can look you in the eye while they are twisting a knife in your heart.
I am glad Mrs Clinton is back but would feel better if she were the nominee for the Dems. Nancy Pelosi, Howard Dean and Charlie Rangell with BO and David Axelrod will all suffer greatly when John McCain is the President because of their conspiracy to deny Mrs. Clinto her delegates, votes and nomination.
If they do not suffer from the election of JM then they will really suffer when BO makes fools out of them like his friends of the past Rezko, Farrakan, Auchi, Wright, Jackson, and now Dodd. After hearing Nancy Pelosi on GVS and today.. I really understand the DNC's decision in FL and MI. She, Dean, Kerry, Kennedy and Dodd deserve each other. It is too bad we are stuck with them. They are like BO-lying opportunists who would do anything to anyone if it furthered their views. Yuk!
