Well, you win some and you lose some. I lost. My parents always told me, "If you're going to do it, do it big." I did and I lost. Someone pass me a plate, I've got some crow to eat. Barack Obama did not choose Evan Bayh as his VP and announce it to...

I agree. Sen. Bayh would be a disaster. Unlike his father, this Sen. Bayh is a DINO. Sen. Obama has already indicated just how right he is going to be, so another right-wing Democrat won't help much.

I tend to agree with you, Tom. He needs someone with name recognition. Or, he could go with a different female, if he didn't want Hillary. The female might also not have name recogition, but her gender might sway some of the disenchanted Hillary fans his way. I had heard that the Govenor of Kansas was a female, who was politically savy. I wonder why her name has never been on his list? A male pick needs name regognition. A female pick would most likely assure him a victory. (first black and first female!) Buzz

Having Bayh as the VP candidate would be handing the election to McCain. Outside of Indianna and DC has anyone ever heard of him? Biden, Clinton, Nunn, or Richardson would each be a much better choice. I can't believe he would flush his chances away with Bayh.
