So much for the Obama camp having their supporters be in the know before the media. If ABC’s Political Punch is right on this: “U.S. Secret Service on Way to Biden’s House,” they got the jump. Political Punch reports:
The United States Secret Service has dispatched a protective detail to assume the immediate protection of Sen. [...]

It’s looking like the pick is Senator Joe Biden… Marc Ambinder picked up on this item:
A flight from Midway to New Castle, DE… to pick someone up? Who knows? No other flights from anywhere in and around Chicago to anywhere in and around Delaware… or vice versa. Just this charter.

Barack Obama will be popping the news on who his VP choice is any time now. I’ve written here in the past few days on the speculation that Kerry might be on the short list as a longshot choice. I’d love to see Kerry be the pick, I’ve made that clear. However, Kerry says “VP [...]

My colleague Sam Stein reported earlier today that Barack Obama’s VP choice will speak on the veteran-themed third night of the Democratic convention. As he noted, top Obama [...]

Barack Obama is using mass text technology to make his VP announcement to his supporters. Using this technology in this manner for the first time, the people signed up to receive the text, before the actual announcement, are planned to have a better sense of that personal involvement and exclusivity. Of course that ‘exclusivity’ will [...]

I’ll continue the concept of Pamela’s excellent article with another long shot possibility that may have been made by Barack Obama. I agree with Pamela that all this smoke may be a screen for another VP pick. With that as a basis I’ll bring another name to the list. A name I know very well.
Wes [...]
