Palin Capitalizes on Family in the Spotlight

September 3, 2008 11:47 pm

And, I thought Rudy Guiliani was nauseating tonight… Sarah Palin stood at the podium, exploited her family including her pregnant teenage daughter and her “intended” and blew the “Republican message about the Palin offspring” being off limits into a farce. Unbelievable. But not… That is what these people live for and the wingnuts in the crowd ate it up, while that young couple at times, looked visibly uncomfortable. Palin’s took jabs at Barack Obama in her speech, “misrepresented his record and...

An Open Mic Moment with the Conservative Punditry

Via Politico: After a segment with NBC’s Chuck Todd ended today, Republican consultant Mike Murphy and Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan were caught on a live mike ridiculing the choice of Sarah Palin. Josh Marshall has the whole transcript...

There are also links to pages that purport to answer — from the Democratic perspective, of course...

John McCain’s VP pick Sarah Palin seems to be the gift that keeps on giving. There’s a lot we still do know about her and a lot that we do now know. Frankly, I think Palin is steeped in hypocrisy and I know I am not alone in that thinking. As the mother of 19 year old daughter, I am appalled at “Palin’s Handling of Other People’s Pregnant Teens.” Today, Sarah Palin is being “prepped for prime time,” as...

Ten Post Round-Up: We Won’t Get Shafted, Again

You’ve got to give McCain credit.  By welcoming Palin into his campaign, he sure livened things up quite a bit in this election (and no, I’m not referring to you-know-what, unless you know what is a bridge or something). Truth be told, I don’t blame him for his (apparently) monumental screw-up.  There was not much more he could do after Obama pretty much drop-kicked McCain during his awesome speech, last week.  McCain can only hope that Palin will continue...
