Palin Capitalizes on Family in the Spotlight

And, I thought Rudy Guiliani was nauseating tonight… Sarah Palin stood at the podium, exploited her family including her pregnant teenage daughter and her “intended” and blew the “Republican message about the Palin offspring” being off limits into a farce.

Unbelievable. But not… That is what these people live for and the wingnuts in the crowd ate it up, while that young couple at times, looked visibly uncomfortable.

Palin’s took jabs at Barack Obama in her speech, “misrepresented his record and simply lied about her own, claiming to oppose earmarks that she supported, and dissembling on her $1.5 billion tax hike and record of raising sales taxes by 25 percent in Wasilla.”

By all accounts, Palin faced a huge task in St Paul. She had to prove she was up to the job of commander in chief.

She struck out big-time — in a biting speech that showed the only job she was ready for is RNC Chair, another ruthless soldier in Karl Rove’s army.

  1. The only one in this race that’s made a clear stand and call on the issues so you know exactly what’s going on in Education is Clinton ! Hands down and no question ! Clinton said,”end the mandates and it’s not working.” Okay ! Clear call and we the people got it ! No one else on either side, Obama or McCain is as clear and specific with detail. Thought Palin did a fantstic job and she’s tough.

It’s very interesting to see what impact it will have on the polls.I use a widget to keep track of the progression of polls. The widget shows the election polls by strength of states. In addition to other different graphical visualizations of data, this one displays the progression of votes over time.It gives a great overview and it is updated as the polls come in!http://www.youcalc.com/apps/1218019592041… and its easy to put on your blog!Make a difference, keep on voting!

I am so glad to get a chance to comment on this Republican gag fest. This are the people who are trained by the George Bush School of speech. Give your one liners-smirk—then wait and grin at the applause.

EVERY SINGLE ONE DID THE SAME THING.

Nothing about what they would do for Americans. The one thing that stand out for is how Palin had the nerve to talk about Obama not being for country first.

DOESNT OLD MAN PALIN BELONG TO THE ALASKAN INDEPENDENCE PARTY FOR SECESSION FROM THE U.S.

How does this square with being for America. She calls him the First Dude. This is the guy to sits in on her meetings but wants to secede from the nation. I guess if Palin is elected we can expect her husband to attend all cabinet secessions and receive copies of Security Briefs as he does in Alaska. These people are bizarre.

This is also the first time I have ever seen people talk about the morality of others and THE EXPLODING OUT OF WEDLOCK PREGNANCIES BUT BRING THEIR PREGNANT DAUGHTER AND HER “LOVER” NOT HUSBAND AND HOLD THEM UP AND BE PROUD OF THEIR ACTIVITIES.

This is the example the Republicans hold up for the children to follow. They did this same bizarre acts whenthey sent copies of President Clinton’s folly TO SCHOOLS FOR KIDS TO READ. THIS IS PART OF THE RECORD ON THAT EVENT IN HISTORY. Republicans are CRAZY. Do we want these insane people to keep control of our lives. Does anyone think that something is wrong with this picture.

I can’t believe that anyone would buy into this Republican drivel! Romney and Rudy? Then Palin talking about the economy and people hurting.  Doesn’t she know that Bush and Chenney destroyed our economy with this Iraq War and gave the oil companies, drug companies and defense contractors a blank check to do whatever they want?  McCain was right with him over 90% of the time.McCain can’t even remember what Bush and Karl Rove did to him in 2000 and this guy wants to be President!

Palin did an excellent job in my opinion. One she lies, two she emphasized that econmically in this country as far as republicans are concerned everyone is on thier own. How could they have picked a better canidate to represent the republican party. She stands for exactly what the republicans have stood for for the last 30 years since my birth and since I have been able to follow polotics.
