Dem Daily Fundraising Drive
By: Pamela LeaveyI haven’t done a fundraising drive here in a very longtime, but the need has arisen to reach out to readers and ask for some support in the way of donations. It’s a lot of work to keep this blog going and even with ad revenue, it does not cover the time put in by myself and others here.
Here’s the deal… I know the economy is tight, but I hope readers will consider pitching in because we’ve got a couple of struggling writers here who need help:
First, some of you may remember Stuart saying here a few weeks back his computer blew. Stuart has given so much to The Dem Daily, I’d like to help him get a new computer.
Second, the economy has knocked the hell out of my small business and I’m going to have to move in a few weeks (more on that soon).
Donations to The Dem Daily will help keep us afloat and go towards keeping the news flowing in. Please give whatever you can to our Fall Donations Drive.
