There's an interesting article in the Washington Post today by Chris Cilizza, "Is Palin A 2012 Contender or Pretender?"

Cilizza is kinda sorta their "blogger" but when he did their roundup of "TOP STATE BLOGS" he listed a new and intermittent blog with a massive neo-confederate posting as one, passing over some of our best political blogs right and left -- which suggested to me that Cilizza ofttimes doesn't have a clue as to what he's talking about.

This new piece pretty much confirms my take on him.

For some reason all the insane crap from Palin -- the lies, the coverup, the blatant staring into your face and claiming she was exonerated; the affair (confirmed by the same source the media used to crucify Edwards but suddenly NOT cited); the billing of the state for nights spent at home, etc. etc. -- none of these even fazed the Washington Post writer as he debates a blogger (in absentia) who thinks Palin will disappear. With enablers like these, the prospect of Palin near the button is frightening.

After all, the "moral" GOP forgave womanizing, pregnancy-out-of-wedlock, adultery, drunkenness (two straight candidates), draft-dodging, cocaine, AWOL, corruption, etc. etc. etc. so Palin's transgressions and coverups won't matter to the GOP OR the media. Evidently.
