Settling In At The End Of The Middle Of No Where
By: Pamela LeaveyGreetings Readers… I wanted to check in briefly and let you all know that I have not dropped off the face of the earth since embarking on my journey across country to move to Maine. I am settling in here in Eastport, Maine, my new home, which my daughter has dubbed the ‘end of the middle of no where.’
The air is clean and fresh here (and cold), the scenery is just spectacular and the people are friendly and welcoming. The entire trip across country was quite an adventure, which I will write more about once I am settled in and election day is over.
Many thanks to Stuart, Hart, Michael and all the writers here for keeping The Dem Daily buzzing in my stead. I promise I’ll be back online more regularly soon, once I am unpacked and back on track.

Great to see you back, Pam. Julie just might be right after looking at the map. Talk to you when you have time. No rush. I’m staying where it’s 75-85 degrees everyday.

It’s really amazingly beautiful here… cold weather and all. I’m running about replacing things I left behind and still unpacking. It’s good to not be spending too much time online right now and just simply get my bearings.
Pamela…there MUST be a story here.
I hadn’t been here in a while, so I didn’t know about your move. Good Luck to you and Juliet in your new home. I’m told Maine is absolutely gorgeous.Stay in touch…YvonneCa

It’s nice that you’re with family. Maine seems so far away…but family makes the difference.
