Ten Post Round-Up: Monday, November 10th, 2008

Gotten over your post-election 2008 hang-over, yet?
If you haven’t, there’s still plenty of news still coming out about what President-elect Obama hopes to do too keep some, if not most, of his campaign promises. There’s also still a lot of post-mortem discussion about the McCain-Palin campaign.
Today, President-elect Obama will be meeting with Lame-Duck President Bush. Can’t wait to hear what Letterman and Leno have to say about all that. Hopefully, our late-night hosts’ jokes are more tasteful than the racially-tinged and hateful jokes I was told, all weekend, about Barack Obama and what a Obama White House may look or sound like.
Despite the end of campaign season, there is still plenty of news to chew on. Keep in mind, we are still dealing, unfortunately, with the Bush Administration, which is a much more pathetic and valid (and proven) joke, than anybody could currently accuse Obama of intending to implement. In other words, we are still dealing with the crap the old boss has dumped on us for nigh on eight years, so let’s focus on that and put aside, for the time being, the yet unknown crap the new boss may dump on us in the next four.
So, it’s Monday. On top of today’s Ten Post Round-Up, we have the pleasure of our favorite Uncle, brought here by the medium of YouTube to review the news from the past week: Uncle Jay Explains: Nov. 10, 2008
Now, onto the Round-up:
- Come on people! Do you really need a psychic to tell you what you already know: Yes, the economy is going to get worse. It is likely that you will lose your job and/or your home before it is all over. It is also likely that if you keep your head up and keep a positive mindset, you will get a new job. That’ll be $10, please…
- Obama’s rise to power may also help the African-American community change its perceptions of itself…
