Conservative Tag Team of the Day

The Conservative Tag Team of the Day award goes to Karl Rove and Rick Santorum:

Karl Rove claims today that Obama “Has Become a Divisive Figure,” leading me to wonder is he channeling the opinion of his former boss and trying to pin it on Obama, because George W. Bush was one of the most, if not the most divisive presidents in history.

And then there’s Rick Santorum who said in an Op/Ed today that Obama is “contemptuous of American values.” As Digby points out, Santorum is “Still with the French hating (and still failing to acknowledge that we owe our freedom to the French in a much more fundamental way.)”

Talk about your divisiveness. Rove and Santorum have it covered today, pushing the wingnuts buttons to the max.

It’s been awhile since I’ve heard Santorum scream about how the biggest threat to modern freedom is the Muslim world, which has declared World War III against. Oh, that’s right, that was in his speeches during his last election for the U.S. Senate. The one that removed him from office.

Rove and Santorum both blew up and are now desperate to reestablish themsleves as anything.
