Finally Al Franken gets ready to claim the U. S. Senate seat for Minnesota. I can remember at our Election Night Party in Iowa , saying that we had to keep an eye on the Minnesota Senate Race. I never dreamed it would take this long. Coleman would have never won in 2002, if absentee ballots for Wellstone were not denied for Mondale, but now he is gone and Franken has WON! Al Franken will be a good Senator, just like Amy Klobichar is, and like Paul Wellstone was! Not that Mondale would not have been good also, he would have been.
