Obama: ‘Nobody gets 100 percent’

President Obama held a press conference today after his meeting on the budget with House Speaker John Boehner. In his press conference he made it clear that the Republican party will not get the budget 100% their way. “Nobody gets 100 percent,” Obama said, as if he need to lay out reality to a group of spoiled children:

John Boehner in his own press conference said “his side was determined not to be boxed in.” So no one is budging and President Obama made it clear:

We don’t have time for games,” he said. “Not on this.”

There’s more on the presser here and the full transcript is available here. Republican Paul Ryan also unveiled his GOP Path to Prosperity today, which is more like a path to the poor house to most Americans.

Stay tuned because we’re perilously close to government shut down at this point if not a full shutdown than a partial by Saturday.
