He’s In: Setti Warren for Massachusetts Senate 2012

As I noted here last night it looked as though Setti Warren was planning to announce his candidacy for U.S. Senate on Tuesday. Warren pulled a fast one and announced today. Here’s his announcement:

I’ve been frustrated by the lack of strong Democratic candidates in the 2012 Senate race here in Massachusetts. I’m excited that Setti has decided to run. I think he brings a lot this Senate race and I believe he will give Scott Brown a serious run for his money when he wins the nomination.

I got to know Setti Warren while I was working on John Kerry’s presidential campaign in 2003 – 2004. I admire his path in life and his stance on the issues.

I don’t need to think twice about this… Setti Warren has my support and endorsement.
