Poll: 71% Not Impressed With GOP Handling of Debt Crisis

A new CBS News Poll shows that 71% of Americans polled disapproved of the Republican’s handling of the debt crisis.

Disapproval of the GOP’s tactics in the debt crisis is not limited to folks on the other side of aisle, just over “half of the Republican respondents (51 percent) voiced disapproval of how members of their own party in Congress are handling the talks.”

As the deadline looms for the debt deal the GOP is still standing firm with with a “total absence of compromise.” Congress is preparing for crucial votes in the both the House and the Senate in the next few days, now that “a bipartisan effort in the Senate to allow President Obama to raise the federal debt ceiling in exchange for about $1.5 trillion in spending cuts over 10 years gained momentum Sunday.”

I’ve been appalled by the GOP’s lack of compromise as many have. They continue to act like petulant spoiled children with absolutely no moral compass what so ever. Stay tuned….
