UPDATE 9:25 et:

Suffolk DA Daniel F. Conley tonight delivered the following statement on the arrest of a suspect in Monday’s bombings at the Boston Marathon and the murder of an MIT police officer:

“As we mourn the loss of Officer Sean Collier, Martin Richard, Krystle Campbell, and Lingzu Lu, I also want to praise the local, state, and federal law enforcement officers who took this suspect into custody with no further injuries. That he was taken alive serves the cause of justice for these victims and their loved ones, for those wounded Monday and last night. It speaks volumes about the professionalism of our police partners and sets the stage for full accountability in this week’s cruel and cowardly acts.”
