We’ll Hate You for Christmas

Two weeks and one day until Christmas in this “Christian” country with its “Christian” agenda and all its oppressed Republican “Christians.” And what do these fine “Christians” see this cold morning? [emphasis added]

Obama, Cuban President Raul Castro Shake Hands at Nelson Mandela Memorial
ABC News

President Obama shook hands with Cuban President Raul Castro today at a memorial service for the late Nelson Mandela in South Africa.  —  Obama stopped to shake Castro’s hand as he was walking to the podium to pay tribute to Mandela.

Why is this so terrible? ABC lets us know:

Republican Jesus™

Obama stopped to shake Castro’s hand as he was walking to the podium to pay tribute to Mandela. The handshake between the presidents of the long-estranged Cold War rivals came at a ceremony honoring the life and legacy of the former South African leader at a soccer stadium in Johannesburg.

It’s been more than 50 years since the U.S. cut diplomatic ties with Cuba following the Communist revolution led by Castro’s brother, Fidel. While there have been glimmers of a thaw in relations in recent years, vast obstacles remain.

The Obama administration continues to call for the release of an American man who has been imprisoned in Cuba for four years. Alan Gross, a 64-year-old husband and father, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for facilitating uncensored Internet contact between a Cuban religious community and the rest of the world.

America’s priorities … It’s already leading the Faux Nooz channel’s
“Coming up” teasers. Look at that AWFUL tolerance …

But the sheer horror of simple human civility doesn’t stop THERE:

Making his way to the podium, Obama also shook hands with Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff, who earlier this year cancelled a state visit to Washington over concerns about alleged spying by the U.S.

Hmmm. Anything else?

Oh, Secretary Kerry was having a tough time convincing Congress that reflexively hating (or hating on orders from potential Nobel Peace Laureate Bibi Netanyahu) Iran isn[‘t the greatest thing since sliced bread, and, since the sanctions have made them squeal really, really hard, let’s make ’em SQUEAL SOME MORE!

And that’s how the Christmas spirit is celebrated in this “Christian” land. Right Sarah?

Om shantih.

Creationist Jesus™

Or, perhaps that awful atheist John Lennon (whose assassination by a fundamentalist “Christian” with an easy to obtain handgun we remembered two days ago):

All we are saying,
is give peace a chance…

Naw. Not “Christian” enough.

Dead American “Christians” — “By their fruits ye shall know them”

Gol-durned atheists  anywho.

Just think: at the funeral of Nelson Mandela, an act of courtesy towards those with whom you have frosty relations is a controversial act to the haters. Then again, as our home-grown “Christian” haters have been screeching this week, Mandela was a “Communist Terrorist.” Not a “Christian” like these pricks.

*NOTE: No derogation of Christianity is implied nor expressed. Merely noting the hypocrisy of those homegrown followers who, to quote the Founder:

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
