The morality judging, conservative, Constitution clingers in the right wing are pouring on the support for Duck Dynasty star, Phil Robertson, who cooked his own goose in a recent interview with GQ Magazine.

His no holds barred sort of interview has landed him in hot water and he was put on indefinate “hiatus” by the popular A&E reality show.

Robertson, is known to be an outspoken Christian; in the interview he equated “homosexuality with bestiality and called the lifestyle a sin.”

“We are extremely disappointed to have read Phil Robertson’s comments in GQ, which are based on his own personal beliefs and are not reflected in the series ‘Duck Dynasty’,” A&E said in a statement on Wednesday.

“His personal views in no way reflect those of A&E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and champions of the LGBT community. The network has placed Phil under hiatus from filming indefinitely.”

Robertson really let it rip in his GQ interview, as he went on the record with crude “comments about the sinfulness of gays and black people under Jim Crow.”

Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men,” he tells reporter Drew Magary. “Don’t be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers—they won’t inherit the kingdom of God. Don’t deceive yourself. It’s not right.”

He also muses about his own sexual orientation: “It seems like, to me, a vagina—as a man—would be more desirable than a man’s anus. That’s just me. I’m just thinking: There’s more there! She’s got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I’m saying? But hey, sin: It’s not logical, my man. It’s just not logical.”

Here’s just a few links to the right wing conservatives lining up to support this swine… Foul support for a Fowl ManSarah Palin defends ‘Duck Dynasty’ starTed Cruz: Free Speech Matters

The First Amendment does not protect a person from the consequences of their free speech in a circumstance like this. If you shoot your mouth off to a top magazine like GQ and spew bigotry and hatred, you are liable to lose your job and find out that a lot of people offended by your foul mouth, can take down your reality show in Hollywood minute.

Phil Robertson is a sad statement on the backwoods views of a certain segment of America. A very sad statement.

Once again we see the Right Wing’s Hypocrisy and we learn how little the Constitutional clingers really understand the Constitution.
