Donald Trump really stepped in it at his campaign rally in North Carolina today when he suggested that 2nd Amendment supporters could “stop” Hillary Clinton. His campaign is desperately trying to quell the bleeding caused earlier today…
Trump’s senior communications advisor Jason Miller said in a statement released to the media, “It’s called the power of unification – 2nd Amendment people have amazing spirit and are tremendously unified, which gives them great political power. And this year, they will be voting in record numbers, and it won’t be for Hillary Clinton, it will be for Donald Trump.”
I’m not convinced. I watched the clip above and clearly he wasn’t implying “voting.”
Senator Elizabeth Warren offered these words in response to Trump’s statement earlier today:
Charles P. Pierce is on the money… The Moment You Realize Trump Finally Crossed the Line: This is it.
