Jeffrey Feldman’s Frameshop is a must read for anyone who want to see thoughtful concepts and ideas about the reading of the day. His post for today is ‘Rust Covered Car Exec’s? Kick ‘em To The Curb’ My comment on his blog follows as I’ve seen some of trouble when a major industry is destroyed.

After nearly two weeks of screwing the pooch, from a communications point of view, all the reporters today are using the ‘Recovery Plan’ language because the Leadership, as demonstrated by Senator Kerry this morning, in Congress is doing the same thing.
It’s about time since this is all an effort to help the economy and banking [...]

John Kerry had at it with Bill O’Reilly on The Factor last night (h/t News Hounds) on the issue of the economic crisis. Watch it here:
This afternoon, Kerry held a press conference to outline the urgency of passing comprehensive economic legislation to avoid the collapse of Wall Street from hitting families and business across the [...]

There’s a lot of finger pointing going on in the wake of the Bail Out Bill failure in the House today (see Roll Call vote here).
Barack Obama said today that “he believed Congress would ultimately pass a proposed $700 billion financial bailout deal, despite its initial rejection by the House of Representatives.”
“I’m confident that we’re going [...]

Over the past few weeks I have noted in a few posts that I am preparing to move across country. I’ve kept meaning to write more about the move and let readers know what’s up but have been so busy with all the preparations, that I haven’t had time to blog about much of anything [...]

I spent the weekend preparing for my move cross country, which I have been alluding to here for a while. I will finally be posting about it later this week. What I can tell readers now, is that the planned move has arisen out of the financial crisis our country is in.
As I noted here [...]

Wall Street reeled today in the wake of growing credit crisis and ended the day with 500 point drop.
Maybe the sky really isn’t falling in the wake of the Wall Street tsunami but “there will be blood.”
John McCain’s record on economic reform is a big fat: ZERO. Today he proved once again how out of [...]

I’m a little late to the celebration for the 4th of July and have been neglect in keeping up with the news here on The Dem Daily of late. Months ago I started a blog on each of my business websites and sadly haven’t done much with them until the past few days when I [...]
