For saying this: “Equality, which is the primary value of the left, is a European value, not an American value.”
Apparently Prager isn’t familiar with the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution.
I’d call him a dangerous idiot, but does anyone outside his partisan echo chamber really care what Prager thinks about anything?

Forget Sarah Palin… The opponent is John McCain and his stance on the issues represents more of the same, not change. That’s the message in Obama’s latest ad that focuses on equal pay for women:
On Monday, in a conference call with female supporters, Barack Obama and his aides outlined a new strategy to target women [...]

By the time you read this post you will either have recovered from the Palin Speech Drinking Game or had enough Pepto to settle your tummy. Of course, if you are like me, you probably opted for a refreshing rerun of CSI.
For those of you who prefer your Republican/Conservative news in bite-size portions, today’s Ten [...]

For all the women, minorities and aged people in this country still facing inequality or downright sexism, racism or age discrimination it’s time for all of us because it’s time for all people to demand equality.
Barack Obama faces outright racism and admits it’s part of his fight. Hillary Clinton faced sexism, most obviously in broadcast [...]

Wedding bells were ringing in California today as hundreds of gay and lesbian couples ties the knot, “giving a human face to a landmark court decision and a powerful opening salvo in what is expected to be a bruising fall campaign here over the issue of same-sex marriage.”
Some weddings actually began in a “handful of [...]

I watched The Devil’s Miner (website) last night for the first time (it was originally from 2005) and what a film this is. The central question of the film is
How do we live in dignity?
Especially when you are 14 years old, living in Potosi, Bolivia, and you work at a mine inCerro Rico, “the [...]

A recent report shows that female veterans are getting inadequate healthcare in nearly 1/3 of VA clinics. Speak out:
More than 155,000 women in America’s armed services have been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan since 2002. But as these distinguished women return home, they are finding a veterans health care system better equipped to deal with the needs [...]

As we begin the race to November all Democrats, disaffected Republicans, independents and very angry Clinton supporters of all descriptions need to remember that winning in November is paramount. [Our opponent is explicitly against Roe v. Wade. If you need no other reason to vote against him remember that reality.]
Taylor Marsh has guest published an [...]

“Oh no they didn’t,” says Joan Walsh tonight. Oh, yes they did… With Hillary Clinton out of the way, the media has now turned their misogynistic sights on Michelle Obama. And, honestly it was bound to happen. Walsh explains:
I don’t watch Fox News, but an alert reader saw it, and Alex Koppelman found a clip: The [...]

“Cuba has authorised sex-change operations and will offer them free to qualifying citizens, officials say.
The move is the latest in a series of policy changes implemented by President Raul Castro since he succeeded his elder brother, Fidel, in February.
Raul Castro’s daughter, who heads the National Centre for Sex Education, spearheaded the changes [...]

Hillary Clinton: on equal opportunities, equal pay and equal respect:
…we must make sure that women and men alike understand the struggles of their grandmothers and their mothers, and that women enjoy equal opportunities, equal pay, and equal respect.
Let us resolve and work toward achieving very simple propositions: There are no acceptable limits, and there are no [...]
