At about 7:30am Pacific Barack Obama addressed the Clinton Global Initiative. After addressing his well known requirements of the financial bill being created in Washington D.C., he put forth other issues.
He committed, again, to a $15 Billion investment each year for 10 years, a total of $150 Billion, in energy research and development for alternative [...]

Listening to Rudy Guiliani’s speech and the RNC chanting “Drill Baby Drill” just turned my stomach. Actually everything Rudy is saying is turning my stomach.

Hey McCain, let’s look at a quote from an article entitled “All eyes on India’s nuclear prize” at P. 32 of the August 4 issue of Business Week magazine. “India hasn’t signed a treaty that created a global fund to compensate victims of nuclear disasters, so reactor-builders in India would have to shoulder the responsibility…’GE [...]

In today’s WaPo Dana Milbank uses his column to bite The Dark Lord, (no, not He-Who-Shall-Not-Be Named), VP Dick Cheney square on the ass while reporting also on Dennis Kucinch’s futile attempt to impeach George Bush. That effort died a quick death.
“Why so unwilling to impeach Bush? As Democratic leaders like to say, two words: [...]
