I was really proud to support Hillary Clinton in the primaries and I loved her speech at the Democratic Convention last month. The line, “No Way, No How, No McCain” really struck a chord for me and a lot of other supporters as well.
Hillary was on the stump for Obama in Ohio on Sunday and [...]

Say what? The McCain campaign had an ad up that was ‘misleading.’
Via Politico:
YouTube has removed a webad that casts Sarah Palin as the victim of sexism on the request of CBS, whose anchor Katie Couric was featured in the ad.
“One of the great lessons of that campaign is the continued and accepted role of sexism [...]

It was okay for John McCain to reference Hillary Clinton’s healthcare plan some months ago and say: “I think they put some lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig,” he said of her proposal. But suddenly when Barack Obama says something similar about John McCain, it’s first an assault on Sarah Palin and then [...]

By the time you read this post you will either have recovered from the Palin Speech Drinking Game or had enough Pepto to settle your tummy. Of course, if you are like me, you probably opted for a refreshing rerun of CSI.
For those of you who prefer your Republican/Conservative news in bite-size portions, today’s Ten [...]

John Kerry was on This Week with George Stephanopoulos today talking about McCain picking Sarah Palin as his VP. Kerry responded to a question from Stephanopoulos about whether he thought the Palin pick would help McCain garner support from women who supported Clinton. As always, Kerry was on the money… calling the pick “insulting to [...]

Well… If John McCain was angling for the women’s vote with his choice of Sarah Palin as his VP, he may not get it after all. The first two national polls out since McCain’s pick was announced show “contrary to what the GOP probably hoped, she scored less well with women than men.”
Here’s a finding [...]

Apparently some die-hard Clinton supporters see Palin as an option. Make no mistake about it, Palin is no Hillary Clinton on women’s issues. Here’s the statement from Ellen R. Malcolm, President of EMILY’s List on Senator McCain choosing Governor Palin (emphasis mine):
“How ironic that, on his 72nd birthday, McCain has raised the question of whether [...]

Jeralyn posted an “An Open letter to Hillary Clinton Supporters” on TalkLeft today that is a must read for all those Clinton supporters still threatening to vote for McCain or a third party candidate.
Here’s some excerpts:

Darrell pegged it below, Hillary Clinton’s speech tonight was “amazing.” I was working late and missed it. But, I’ve just finished watching and in a word, it was awesome.
Hillary introduced herself a “proud mother,” a “proud Democrat,” a “proud American” and a “proud supporter of Barack Obama.”
“Whether you voted for me, or voted for Barack, the [...]

Who knew? If it was possible to see even a sliver of the future, what might be different?
Sen. Clinton just gave the presidency to her former rival, Sen. Obama. And in doing so, she accomplished the feat largely by showing the President she would have been, as opposed to the lesser president her campaign, for [...]

Earlier today I posted on Hillary Clinton’s response to the RNC ad using her words against Barack Obama, as reported by Ben Smith on Politico today. Here’s the video clip:

I could not resist commenting on this photo from the NY Times Blog The Caucus. The Caucus reports: “Rednecks love Barack Obama. Or at least two of them do.”
“We hunt, fish, drink beer and support Barrack Obama,” said Tony Viessman, a 74-year old former Hillary Clinton supporter from Rolla, Mo. He and his buddy Les [...]
